Health and Safety Procedures

As we reopen Sharp Educators and begin serving centers with children ages 6 weeks to 12 years old, all staff will go through our extensive training on health and safety practices.

We continue to work closely with state child care licensing for up to date regulations and follow CDC guidelines on protocols for centers in communities that are slowly lifting some restrictions. 

You will notice that our staff will perform:

Health screening and temperature checks. All staff will take their temperature each day and must be fever-free before arriving at your facility. Thermometers are available to staff for on-site temperature checks, and staff will monitor their health throughout the day. Staff will provide your facility with a completed health and safety check form prior to beginning assignment. 

Protective equipment. All staff will have face masks for and thermometers to perform health and safety checks. 

Hand-washing and sanitizing All staff members are required to wash their hands upon entering any classroom and they are required to perform hand-washing throughout the day. Hand sanitizer will also be available to all staff. 

Stay home if sick Instead of 48 hours, we require that sick staff to be symptom-free 72 hours before returning to assignment
